Here are some ideas to help jump start your creativity when making your Christmas scrapbooking albums.

1.  Make a scrapbook album showing all the events leading up to Christmas.  I like to make a history of everything we did from decorating the tree, to baking, Christmas shows we watched, and of course, Christmas morning.

2.  Focus on kid firsts.  A visit to Santa Clause, decorating cookies, seeing snow, etc. make great scrapbook pages.    Keep the camera on hand to capture all those special kid moments.

3.  Use the same color throughout the album for cohesiveness.   By using the same color the scrapbook album will flow together easily.

4.  Use the same theme throughout such as snow, bells, gingerbread men, etc.  Again, this provides a continuity to your scrapbook album.

5.  Try Christmas themed embellishments and stickers.  These are simple ways to help dress up your scrapbook pages without going to a lot of extra work.  Take help where you can get it!

6.  Consider using a Christmas stencil to make unique pages.  Stencils are fun to use and can make plain pages really special.

7.  Make a Christmas themed paper bag scrapbook.  These are great little books to keep on your coffee table or give away as gifts.

8.  Create a scrapbook out of oversized Christmas tags.  The tag scrapbook albums are adorable!

The most annoying thing about being green is having to constantly dispel the myth that all things green are too time consuming and expensive to bother with. Besides, how can the efforts of one single individual living on a street with gas-guzzlers and non-recyclers make a difference?
